Description
Presented for sale here is a vintage Celluloid 149. This pen from the 50s, and has the two silver rings. It has the correct 149 14C nib. The pen has a Medium nib. The pen is in fantastic condition. The clip has no brassing. The two Silver rings are slightly wrapped, this is a very common issue with 149s. The window has nice visibility and the barrel only has a little ambering. The cap swivels a bit from the Celluloid shrinking, another very common issue with these pens, but it opens and closers great, and is not a concern for daily use. The body and cap both have scratches and small dings, but no cracks and is in perfect working condition.
In the end, this is NOT a perfect example of a 149 Silver Rings. But perfect one sell for beyond 3500+. This one is a great example and priced right!
