Aurora 88 Nettuno Limited Edition Fountain Pen
This pen is pre-owned, but in like new condition. It has never been inked. It comes with box and papers and is equipped with an 18kt Medium nib. It is number 472/888.
We are pleased to announce the release of the fifth pen The limited edition Aurora 888 Nettuno within the Aurora Planets series, titled Nettuno or Neptune in English. You may recall the previous models, including Sole, Marte, Saturno and the ever popular Nebulosa. Nebulosa was the first purple “Auroloide” material. Nettuno shares the same beauty and uniqueness of the Nebulosa, as the material is the first of its kind and limited to this large 88 design.
The Nettuno is a numbered limited edition of 888 pieces and comes equipped with the traditional size six 18k nib. As with all Aurora made nibs of this size, the feeds are 100% made of ebonite, which supports the consistent ink flow.
The Aurora 888 Nettuno is made entirely in-house, including the nib and ebonite feed. The cap and barrel are made from Auroloide while the cap’s finial, grip section, and piston knob are made from black resin. Like all 88s, the 888 Nettuno features Aurora’s unique piston filler design with a built-in ink reserve. When the pen runs dry, extend the piston to access enough ink for several more pages of writing. The piston knob will remain extended acting as a reminder to refill the pen while still allowing the cap to be posted.
