Chatterley Luxuries and Pen Time will accept exchanges or returns for pens and accessories unless the item is a special order.
Authorization is required prior to returning any merchandise. Authorizations must be requested within 3 days of the date of delivery. Other exceptions can be made.
Shipping: Shipping costs are not refundable on any order. If you received free shipping, selected the “Free Ground (UPS)” shipping option, or received a promotion or discount on shipping of any kind on an order, then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund when returned. If “Free Ground (UPS)” shipping was selected a fee of $25 (to cover the shipping/packing/handling costs) will be deducted from the total refund.
Returns or Exchanges will be refused if the Pen, Lighter, or Accessory has been used, or altered from its original condition in any way. (including engraving, dipping, inking, etc)
Because of recent changes with Paypal and Credit Card Processors, there will be a 3.5%-4.5% fee for returns. This is not something we keep, as of May 2019, Paypal and our Credit Card Processor does not refund the fees as they used too, they keep them so these fees are not refundable. This fee includes cancelled items before they ship as the payment still gets the fees regardless of shipment status.
Special orders: Special orders, Pre-orders, custom order items, and deposits for special orders, are not returnable and are not refundable. Deposits to hold items can not be returned and are not refundable. Products put on hold, then received can not be returned and are not refundable. By putting an item on hold, and we take it out of selling inventory, you forego the 3 day inspection period for returns.
