Nakaya Cigar Heki-Tamenuri Fountain Pen
This pen is in like new condition. It comes complete with original box and papers. It has a 14kt Medium nib and fills via cartridge converter.Â
This model has no trim and no distinction between cap and barrel. This model is portable and is supposed to be used without posting the cap when writing. As ebonite is a very light material it is possible to make the barrel thicker and longer. Therefore the balance point can be set easier to provide comfortable writing for everyone. “Tame” means “pool” and “nuri” refers to the lacquer coating process. You can actually see through the layers of clear urushi lacquer as if you were looking into a pool. “Heki” is the color between blue and green. It is one of the Japanese traditional colors.
