Montblanc 149 Celluloid Silver Rings Fountain Pen
These Celluloid with Silver ringed 149s were made in the 1950s. This particular model was made in the late 50s.
Note, the marks on the pen are dust, this pen with the human eye looks fantastic! Our high definition Marco shots will show all the marks extremely more noticeable than in person so you can see how great this pens condition is in.
The pen is in great condition, 9/10. The nibs plating is slightly faded and the top silver ring is a little loose, very normal on these 70-80 year old pens.
Imprints- Â 149 imprint is good, no nib imprint
Nib- EF nib with some Fantastic Fun flex (New nib grade- FFF?)  🙂
Window-Good
Feed-Ebonite
Filling-telescopic Piston Filler
The pen is a fantastic example of one of the most collectable Vintage Montblanc’s.
The pen is fully restored and ready to write.
