Visconti continues its journey of celebrating the great innovators and scientists of the past, paying tribute to one of the most visionary minds in history: Nikola Tesla.

The design of the collection is inspired by Tesla’s famous coils – devices capable of generating spectacular plasma discharges resembling lightning bolts. The barrel and cap, with their distinctive cylindrical shape ending in a toroid, are crafted from fluorescent blue resin and intricately detailed to recreate miniature lightning strikes that evoke the discharges produced by the original coils. The body is adorned with the raised inscriptions “Tesla” and “Visconti,” enameled in lime green, which stands out elegantly against a surface of metallic purple enamel, creating refined contrasts.
Inside the cap’s toroid is a transparent acrylic disc engraved with Visconti’s “V,” appearing suspended in mid-air – a poetic homage to the physical forces Tesla strove to make visible.
Three rose gold plated rings, finely crafted to resemble copper coil windings, punctuate the pen’s body with perfect symmetry: one at the center, two at the ends.
The fountain pen version is equipped with an 18kt rose gold plated nib and Visconti’s patented power-filler filling system.
