Produced in 1993, this highly celebrated model is built on the classic Omas piston-fill Paragon design, featuring the distinctive black and white “Wild” celluloid.
The limited edition number, 4692 units, is a number reportedly derived from multiplying Galileo’s birth year by three, symbolizing the 3X magnification of his initial telescope. The pen’s release in 1993 was significant, aligning with the year the Inquisition officially exonerated Galileo of heresy for his support of the Copernican theory, a full 460 years after Pope Urban VIII put him on trial for contradicting the Church’s accepted view of the solar system.
