Stanford Pen Studio Jabulani Forest Folk Painted Fountain Pen
This pen is lovingly used and does not come with a box or papers. It is equipped with a Steel Broad nib and fills via Cartridge Converter (included).

From Stanford Pen Studio:
Carla Nel loves frogs and also loves mushrooms, so this fountain pen combines the two. Living among the leaf litter, Forest Folk love the damp of the forest floor. Carla has portrayed the cutest of these little creatures, painted from a frog’s eye view, and her ‘shrooms have an abundant, riotously happy feel about them. Her colours in the green-turquoise-blue range contribute to the sense of rich moistness. We have added forest green grip section, an engraved nib, our logo medallion in bronze, and a bronze cap band and bronze section ring. Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.
Carla Nel
Carla is a graphic designer currently based in Cape Town. Her pens are her biggest therapeutic outlet. As a designer she loves that illustrating these pens gives her a push to tap into her creative side, but also the freedom to try new things and to be nudged outside her comfort zone.
Jabulani Model
‘Jabulani’ means ‘Rejoice’ in Zulu, which is exactly what we feel about this fountain pen model. It is gently curvaceous, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 11 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their art. We make all our fountain pen and rollerball pen bodies in-house. Once the pen body has been painted or illustrated we coat it in a layer of clear resin to protect the artwork from being damaged during day-to-day use, making it a portable work of art.
Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap screws on to the barrel and is flush with the barrel. As with all our pens the cap does not post as this is an art pen and with repeated posting the threads could leave a mark on the clear coating covering the artwork. The Jabulani model comes with a hand-crafted cap band and section ring in either argentium silver or bronze, depending on which of these materials best suits the artwork.
