Limited to 500 converter and cartridge-fed fountain pens with 18k gold filigree nibs and 500 rollerball pens, all Lo Spirito di Stella writing instruments are made of navy blue resin, the colour chosen the recall the sea and the craft, complementing a laser-cut teak barrel recalling the decking of fine sailing craft. All trim is made of stainless steel. The shape suggests the streamlining of the catamaran’s hulls, through an elongated cap with a sharpened point, a sleek signature clip with the wind rose symbol and a shapely, rounded barrel. Part of the proceeds from the sales of such products will be donated to the Associazione Lo Spirito di Stella ONLUS, the foundation financing the expedition.
