Danitrio has been known as a high quality pen manufacturer for decades. They have literally made hundreds of variations of pens throughout the years. Presented for sale here are very nice black laquer fountain pens that they made over a decade ago and have since discontinued this line of pens. They feature 18kt gold nibs, and the cost of these alone today are around $300, just for the nib. There is also an option for this pen to have a steel nib.
At Danitrio they decided rather to focus on a smaller range of pens, particularly the hand painted Maki-e pens. These pens here have been kept for more than 15 years in good quality. The nibs are from Bock and are in the Medium grade, also these pens fill via cartridge convertor. Today the MSRP would be over $300.
