Montblanc 128PL Platinum Striated Celluloid Fountain Pen

The 128 PL Platinum is one the most sought after vintage Montblanc pen on the market. Its more rare than 139s and 146 greens by a long shot. They do not come around often. We have only seen a few in the years we have been selling pens.

Some of the most sought after Montbalncs are the PL series pens. These pens do not come around often. The celluloid on this pen is amazing! This is a number 8 sized pen and its filling system is a button filler.  The blind cap unscrews and then you press down to fill… Trim is very good on this pen and there are no issues with the clip or ring. Engravings are crisp and on the blind cap it says 124 PL and B. Although the blind cap says B, I think the nib is more like a Medium or Fine. Its possible that the nib was exchanged at some point in its life. But the nib does have flex, so that is big bonus to it if you wanted to use such an amazing pen.

The 1XX line is the most sought after and as it was the most expensive and to this day is still being used on the 144/146.. And so on.

PL pens in the 122-128 range is some of the most collectible and rare pens out there. And the 128 is the most rare and collectable.

This pen is fully restored by Osman Sumer and is in perfect working condition.
