Montblanc George Bernard Shaw Writers Limited Edition Set
This pen set is a New Old Stock set that has never been inked or used. It comes complete with original box and papers. The Fountain Pen is equipped with an 18k Medium nib and fills via a piston filling system. The set also includes a ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil.
Dark green marbled lacquer punctuated with platinum-plated fittings. These are the style features of the Writers Edition in honour of the distinguished Irish free thinker George Bernard Shaw. This pen is inspired by Shaw’s best-known character from his play “Pygmalion”: Eliza Doolittle. Just as Eliza, a poor flower girl, is brought up to be an aristocratic lady, so the fine platinum of the set is replaced more and more towards the cap by the opulent dark green of the precious resin. This deep, marbled green originally represents the lush green meadows of Ireland that Shaw left behind.
