Up for sale is an excellent Montblanc L139. This pen has the Long Window and is in perfect working condition. It has a two toned 14c medium nib and the blind cap is also marked “m” as well as “L139” The D. R. P is 652405
The piston is in working condition and the pen is ready to use. I filled and tested the pen for a day or so and its a great writer. It has some decent flex to the nib, and is nice and wet.
The window is very nice, I would not say mint, because it does have some fading to the lines on it, but still in excellent condition. There is really no brassing except for on the back of the clip ring as you can see in the pictures. All three rings are tight and are not loose at all, part of the word “meisterstuck” is slightly faded, but still indented pretty well. The star is very white. The cork has recently been replaced by a well known Montblanc specialist. Contact me back channel if you would like to know who did the work.
The pen is outstanding, but I would not mint, because of the slightly faded window, and the other things mentioned, but all and all an excellent example of one of the most collectable Vintage pens out there.
Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the pen.
