Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Bespoke Nib BB Soft Fountain Pen
(A note from Bry: I tested this nib (not this specific one, but a BB Soft), and while it was pleasant, I didn’t find it noticeably softer than a standard 149 nib.)
Up for sale is the Montblanc 149 fitted with the exceptional Bespoke BB Soft nib.
These nibs are handcrafted in Montblanc’s Hamburg atelier and built only upon request. The BB Soft is one of the newest additions to the Bespoke program—created in response to growing demand for a broader, more expressive nib with a subtle softness that brings writing to life.
Ordering a bespoke nib directly requires sending your pen to Germany and waiting roughly 3–4 months, with total cost around $1,900 after tax and shipping. (This does not inlaced the cost of the pen and you do not get to keep the original nib)
This pen is brand new, complete with box and papers. The BB Soft delivers a broad, fluid line with gentle cushion and warmth on the page—one of the most enjoyable writing experiences in Montblanc’s Bespoke lineup.
