Bamboo is a very resilient plant. Due to its sturdy root structure, it is a symbol of prosperity in Japan. This Namiki Yukari fountain pen features the Togidashi Maki-e technique, where Hira Maki-e techniques are employed to create the main design. Then, the entire body is coated with Urushi lacquer, and after drying, the design is revealed by polishing the lacquer with charcoal.
This pen is equipped with an 18k gold nib. Â It houses a cartridge convertor filling system.
