S.T. Dupont joins forces for the first time with Richard Orlinski – internationally renowned French visual artist – for an exclusive collaboration where sculptural instinct meets artisanal precision. Together, they unveil a bold, contemporary collection that reflects a shared vision of raw, creative luxury, shaped with uncompromising care.

Since 2015, Richard Orlinski has established himself as one of the world’s most in-demand artists. A native Parisian, he draws inspiration from untamed nature and primal emotion, which he channels into vibrant, instantly recognisable works. His signature series, Born Wild, explores the line between animal instinct and human culture, between raw power and beauty. From the angular silhouette of his iconic Kong to the dynamic panther in motion, his sculptures have become symbols of strength and daring. This energetic, graphic style resonates instinctively with the world of S.T. Dupont. Founded in 1872, the Maison has, for over 150 years, nurtured a dialogue between creativity and craftsmanship, heritage and freedom of expression.
For this collaboration, S.T. Dupont and Richard Orlinski reinterpret the brand’s icons – the Ligne 2 lighter and the Line D Eternity writing instrument – as well as Biggy, Slimmy, and the Initial ballpoint pen. Each piece is transformed through the artist’s signature aesthetic into a work of art in its own right.
The Collection
The metallic variations in palladium and gold showcase the full mastery of the Maison’s savoir-faire. On the Ligne 2 lighter and the Line D Eternity L, brushed, sandblasted and polished finishes play with light and texture, creating a subtle contrast between raw radiance and refined elegance.
A special “Red” line pays tribute to Orlinski’s emblematic use of colour. For the first time, S.T. Dupont introduces a brushed gold finish and adorns the Ligne 2 lighter with a metallic “Kong” motif. The Kong’s profile is set against a guilloché pattern inspired by the Maison’s 1970s archives: a diagonally engraved surface under lacquer, lending a sense of movement – almost life – to the material. This technique also appears on the Line D Eternity L pen in red and gold, available as a fountain pen or rollerball.
