Soennecken 222 Superior Silver Grey Lizard Vintage Celluloid Fountain Pen
This vintage pen has seen regular use and shows noticeable wear throughout, with clear signs of handling and surface wear in the way of small scratches and oxidization on the clip (see last image). Despite its age, this pen remains fully operational and continues to deliver exceptional performance.
It is equipped with a 14k Extra Fine Soennecken crown nib, and fills via a unique Soennecken “click” Piston Filling Mechanism. To activate the piston, you pull the spring-loaded piston cap away from the body of the pen and turn to push the piston into place to fill the pen. As you fill the pen and come to the end, you will eventually hear an audible “click”, locking the piston cap in place. It does not come with a box or papers. The pen has the name Verlag Dr Stoytscheff on the opposite side of the model name.
