On the occasion of the Holy Shroud of Turin exposition in Italy in recent years, Stipula presents this exceptional and evocative limited edition ballpoint pen. Crafted entirely by hand from solid sterling silver, the surface is patterned after the sepulchral walls used in ancient graves. On either side of the pen below the clip are bronze inlays with engravings that refer to the forms found on roman coins, called “dilepton lituus”, which date back to the times of Tiberius. The clip itself bears a design likened to that of a man laid to rest with a shroud over his form.
