The Homo Sapiens Carbon Abyssus marks the second chapter in Visconti’s exploration of forged carbon and innovation—a collection where advanced engineering meets sculptural beauty.
Building on the foundation of the original Carbon Moiré, this edition pushes material science to new depths. Its body is crafted from evolved forged carbon—now denser, more uniform, and paired with anodized blue aluminum alloy foil that shimmers like light breaking through deep ocean waters. Every detail reflects the balance between strength, precision, and elegance.
The double-reservoir system remains the heart of its construction, revealed through a central transparent acrylic ring that allows a glimpse of the ink even when capped—both a technical and aesthetic signature.
To achieve extreme lightness, all metal components have been redesigned in Ergal, an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy famed for its strength-to-weight ratio. Each piece undergoes deep-blue anodization, protecting against corrosion while giving the pen its defining tone. The clip bears the Visconti logo in laser-engraved contrast, subtle and refined.
