Stipula Legend of the 5-Toed Dragon Maki-e Limited Edition Rollerball Pen
This pen is lovingly used and comes complete with a box and papers. It comes with a Rollerball refill (not pictured). Pen commissioned by Allian Pens. A cabochon ruby gemstone along side an engraved dragon stretches the length of the sterling silver clip.

It is said that most dragons in Chinese art are shown with only four toes. Only the Emperor of China had the exalted right to a five toe or Imperial Dragon. Anyone else who presumed to display a five toed dragon without permission met with swift retribution. As a result of this, anyone carrying a travel warrant sealed with the Emperor’s five toe dragon could travel safely from one end of China to the other and expect hospitality all the way.
