18111 Pens Sakura Moon With Gold-Plated Brass Sakura Branch Roll-Stop Fountain Pen
This pen is lovingly used and comes with a box but no papers. It is equipped with an 18k Fine nib and fills via cartridge convertor (included).
It is handcrafted like a Japanese maki-e technique but uses modern materials and tools.
The images in this pen were laser engraved and then hand-filled with pearlescent powder and resin, similar to the urushi technique called Chinkin (沈金). It’s not painted or printed.
The Lotus roll-stopper was 3D printed in wax and then cast in gold-plated brass.
The pen blank is hand cast, turned, and threaded with my mix of Alumilite resin.
