The Chateau Shinogi showcases the artwork of Shawn Newton and the innovative use of German Ebonite, a unique and high-quality hard rubber (vulcanite) produced by Schönberger Ebonite Manufaktur GmbH (SEM) in Germany. Known for its excellent polishing, durability, and vibrant color, this material is highly prized for crafting luxury fountain pens. It provides a warm, comfortable and durable feel that, if properly maintained, can last a lifetime.
Known for a high, luxurious, lacquer-like gloss, made through the vulcanization of natural rubber, creating a dense, non-conductive material. It is known for its “stunning optic and haptic” feel, producing a warm, smooth texture in the hand compared to acrylic.
Nibs are German made 18k two tone, featuring an engraved Chateau logo, tuned in house.
