Danitrio Urushi Maki-e Peony Arabesque on Takumi Stub Nib Fountain Pen
This pen is lovingly used and does not come with a box or papers. It is equipped with an 18k Stub Nib and fills via a Cartridge/Convertor (included). There is some damage to the urushi on the upper part of the body (see last image).

For over 2 decades now Danitrio has made and continues to make remarkable hand painted pens using the Japanese skill and craftsmanship. During the peaceful Tokugawa Era (1603-1868) Samurai had too much leisure time to spend, and the designs by Urushi paintings on their scabbards became fashionable as salesmen’s ties in dress suits today.
This pen was created with an educational design to it. It is part of a series created by master artists Mr. Omote and Mr. Hariya. The pen is made from a traditional Maki-e for Danitrio’s own designs.
The pen fills via cartridge convertor and features a size 18kt gold nib.
