Franklin Christoph Model 03M Fiori di Christoph Limited Edition Fountain Pen
This pen is lovingly used and comes complete with a box and papers. It is equipped with a 14k Fine nib and fills via a Cartridge Convertor (included). The pen also comes with a Steel Fine Nib as well as the 14k Fine Nib attached (see last image).

I used to commission overlay designs early in my career, to put on various kinds of pens. For many years I’ve intended to feature overlays with the Franklin-Christoph brand. In fact, the Model 03 with it’s subtle taper from the center to the ends was designed this way for this purpose. So here I present the first design, in partnership with an Italian artisan house, an edition named Fiori di Christoph.
It features an abstract flora motif in a very traditional overlay style that harkens back to turn of the century 19th-20th. Hand carved and engraved by artisans with experience handed down from the generations. I decided not to number this first edition as it will be inherently limited. The overlay is solid .925 sterling sliver. (stamp markings at bottom of barrel overlay).

♦ The Modified 03 features a solid one piece cap. This design we also often use for our maki-e limited edition pens. So the cap is slightly shorter, with no finial or disk as compared to the regular 03, which means no clip option.
♦ Iterum is Latin for “again” or “once more” as the Model 03 is designed in the spirit of our original Model 01 IPO. Straight sides with very subtle tapers down toward the ends. Mostly flat top and bottom with just a hint of the normal Franklin-Christoph bevel on each end.
♦ Threads on the end of the grip for comfort. This also allows for precision posting so there is no creaking or wobbling when the pen is posted.
♦ 1.6 oz / 45.36 grams – with nib and converter un-inked.
♦ #6 Size nib – with many tip options in factory or custom ground.
♦ Cartridge – eye dropper filling options.
♦ Made in USA.
