Montblanc Meisterstück 136 Long Window Fountain Pen
Presented for sale here is a vintage Montblanc Meisterstück 136 Long Window Fountain Pen
This 136 dates from the 1940s. This pen has a Long window. The Imprints are nice. Blind caps are ebonite. The clip and ring have almost no brassing. An excellent example.
It fills via telescopic Piston Filler. It has a Fine nib and marked so on the blind cap.
We did test fill the pen to ensure it is in working condition. The Fine nib does write with some tooth to it. We recommend filling the pen with water upon receiving it and allowing it to sit for 24 hours. Reason for this is so that the cork that is inside the filling system, will have time to expand and therefore will not have leakage when you fill it with ink.
