Montblanc Oscar Wilde Writers Limited Edition Pen Set
This pen set is lovingly used and comes complete with a box and papers. The fountain pen is equipped with an 18k Medium nib and fills via a Piston Filling system. The set also includes a ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil, both in working order. The spine of the inner box is broken and does not stay open and there is writing on the outer box (see last 2 images).
Oscar Wilde is quoted as having said: “I have very simple tastes. I am always satisfied with the very best.” This sentiment is reflected in every pen in the Writers Edition created in his honour. The unconventionally decorated barrel, made of marbled precious resin and the many details hint at the passionate spirit of Oscar Wilde. Both the clip and the mountings are made of gold-plated 925 sterling silver. An engraved signature of the author decorates the cap of the pen. And the handmade 18-karat gold nib, with its highly detailed engravings in the style of the age in which Wilde lived, complete this extraordinary tribute to an extraordinary person.
