The Scribo La Dotta collection honors the rich history and heritage of Scribo’s home in Bologna, Italy. This handpainted, 2024 limited edition collection reflects the time-honored tradition of watercolor art (aquerelle).
LA DOTTA Acquerello is an explosion of colors that reproduces the nuances and shades of watercolor painting, applied by hand combining two artistic techniques. Airbrushing is fundamental for creating the base. Then, an application of blended, layered watercolor, represents the true protagonist of this process. Each piece is handmade and is therefore unique, with a texture that cannot be repeated on another model.
Similarly to the city that inspired it, La Dotta is characterized by a sinuous, rounded appearance. To achieve this shape, SCRIBO removed the facets from their first model, the “Feel,” to accentuate the smoothness and grace of the pen’s gently curving profile. As with the Feel, La Dotta also has a well-balanced design and a high-quality writing experience.
