Stipula has long been known for their line of classic fountain pens, the Etruria collection. Etruria is in reference to the geographical location of their conception, in the same land where the Etruscans thrived for many many generations. This Italian line represents a history of quality and conceptionally innovative products.
Now Chatterley Pens and Stipula have collaborated to bring another in the line of Etruria’s, The Carbon Future. Crafted from carbon fiber, a very strong and desirable material, it is seen as part of the future of modern pens, using modern materials and classic designs in a balanced combination. There are many pens these days made of Carbon Fiber, but few are finished in the same way. This pen features a matte finish on the carbon fiber, leaving the texture to by felt by the user and providing a comfort to write with. The nib is also made of a material that has recently been brought to the forefront as one of the latest successes in the modern pen world, Titanium.
The trim is Sterling Silver stamped 925, with a matte finish and rhodium plated to protect it and provide a contrast between the dark carbon fiber. The nib is Stipula’s Titanium T-Flex, which writes between a fine and a medium grade. This pen is a limited edition of 20 pens worldwide with black accents and 5 pens worldwide with red accents. The MSRP on the Stipula / Chatterley Pens Carbon Future fountain pen is $995
