Stipula continues to create great limited edition pens, using the finest quality materials and top notch techniques. This is another in the 2013 line up of fountain pens that Stipula has released.
This pen is part of a Limited Edition of 351 pieces worldwide, with 351 is the length of Palazzo Pitti façade calculated in “Florentine arms”, an ancient Florentine length measure used during Renaissance. Equipped with an in-house piston filler, this pen uses liquid ink. The pen is larger than other Etruria’s, however the shape is consistant with the classic Etruria look. Designers took into account the usability of the pen as an everyday instrument, as is evident in the section that is smooth and tapered, also in the use of Orange veined celluloid to make up the body and cap of the pen. The pen was then finished with two tone 991 trim, made of steel and a titanium T-flex nib, to complete the entire package. MSRP on this pen is $425.
