Aurora 888 Giove Limited Edition Fountain Pen

We are pleased to announce the release of the seventh pen of the limited edition Aurora 888 within the Aurora Planets series, titled Giove. You may recall the previous models, including Sole, Marte, Saturno, Nettuno, Mercurio and the ever popular Nebulosa. Nebulosa was the first purple “Auroloide” material.
The Giove is a numbered limited edition of 888 pieces and comes equipped with the traditional size six 18k nib. As with all Aurora made nibs of this size, the feeds are 100% made of ebonite, which supports the consistent ink flow.
The Aurora 888 Giove is made entirely in-house, including the nib and ebonite feed. The cap and barrel are made from Auroloide while the cap’s finial, grip section, and piston are made from black resin. Like all 88s, the 888 Giove features Aurora’s unique piston filler design with a built-in ink reserve. When the pen runs dry, extend the piston to access enough ink for several more pages of writing. The piston knob will remain extended acting as a reminder to refill the pen while still allowing the cap to be posted.
All the metal trim is plated to match the Rose Gold plated 18k gold nib. The nib is available in six widths: EF, F, M, B, Goccia, Stub and Italic.
