Franklin Christoph Model 66 Stabilis Diamondcast Dark Blue Fountain Pen
This pen is lovingly used and comes with a Franklin Christoph leather pen pouch. It is equipped with a Steel Fine “S.I.G.” nib and fills via cartridge convertor (included). The “S.I.G.” stands for Stub. Italic. Gradient. From the Fountain Pen Nib information from Franklin Christoph: S.I.G. – The smooth feel of a stub with the line variation closer to a cursive italic. Gradient – means that it offers similar line variation at different angles from steep to shallow – more versatile for various angles of handwriting. This nib variation was originally developed by the late Jim Rouse. This nib was Ground by Audrey Matteson.

Features our special block threads at the end of the grip section. These smoother feeling threads are out of the way of your fingers. Placing the threads at this spot limits the amount of air within the cap chamber, thereby helping to eliminate dry out. The design of the block threads also releases the air when you unscrew so as to not create a suction effect on the ink.
Each pen can be filled via long or short international cartridge, converter, or via eye dropper.

The Model 66 Stabilis won a design award by PenWorld Magazine Readers for Distinctive Daily Writer in 2015.
There is a flat side on each barrel which allows the pen to be placed on a desk without rolling. This spot also contains the blind engraving “Franklin-Christoph Model 66.” The caps post deeply on both pens for balanced writing.
