This pen is pre-owned, but is in excellent condition. It comes complete with original box, pen kimono and papers. It is equipped with a 14kt Broad nib that has been Stubbed. Â
This model has no trim and no distinction between cap and barrel. This model is portable and is supposed to be used without posting the cap when writing. As ebonite is a very light material it is possible to make the barrel thicker and longer. Therefore the balance point can be set easier to provide comfortable writing for everyone. This pen utilizes the Sumi-ko technique, which involves mixing charcoal powder with Urushi lacquer to produce the rich matte texture.
