Conway Stewart WW1 Churchill Poppy Limited Edition Fountain Pen
This pen has been lovingly used. It comes complete with box and papers. It is equipped with an 18k Italic Broad nib that has been customized to a Cursive Italic by Mike Masuyama.
At first glance, the Churchill WW1 Limited Edition appears to be similar to the Classic Black version, but look more closely and you’ll find important differences which make this a ‘stand-out’ pen that will be sought after by collectors like you long after the edition has closed.
Firstly, the fittings are all in hallmarked sterling silver – rather than the traditional gold fittings you’ll recognise on all the regular Churchill editions.
Secondly, there is a subtle but very distinctive hexagonal pattern engraved on the cap and barrel which makes this pen hugely tactile. Once it’s in your hand you’ll find it difficult to put down!
Next, the connection between Churchill and the First World War, in which he served as a British Army major, means our Churchill pen was the obvious choice for this special edition.

Finally, a subtly-placed red poppy emblem in the top of the cap captures the importance of the occasion – the 100th Anniversary of the start of the first World War in 1914 – and will always be a poignant reminder to you of the reason for its issue.
The poppy is made from vibrant poppy red and black vitreous enamel with sterling silver surround and centre piece – using techniques which were perfected by Carl Faberge in the early part of the 20th century and which are maintained today by our proud craftsmen and women.
This comes with the large Churchill box, with a larger bottle of Conway Stewart ink and booklet. It does not have a the Cigar, but a cigar can be purchased and shipped with it, if the customer wants it.
Original MSRP was $950
