Franklin Christoph Model 03 Silver Dragon Maki-e Fountain Pen
This pen is pre-owned, but in excellent condition. It comes complete with box, Franklin Christoph pouch and is equipped with a Steel Broad nib.

Years ago we did a project with the Model 01 producing the IPO Diamondback maki-e model. The maki-e artwork was done by Katsunobu Nishihara. Here we finally returned to begin Franklin-Christoph maki-e anew with the Model 03 Silver Dragon – artwork also produced by our friend Mr. Nishihara. The original design submitted by Scott Franklin, Mr. Franklin and Mr. Nishihara worked together on this project. There were only be 51 numbered pieces produced on this modified (cap) version of the Model 03.
- Limited to 51 signed pieces.
- Produced with hand applied platinum powder, mother of pearl diamonds, and a dark maroon dragon’s eye.
- 6 layers of urushi in dragon work. (Hira Maki-e style)
